United States Customs and Border Protection (USCBP) has noted that importing consumer-ready, fresh cut flower bouquets, or assembling such articles upon importation for sale directly to retailers, has increased in recent years, so it has become necessary to address the marking of this commodity.

USCBP has provided a fact sheet that includes:

- The general requirements for markng as outlined in 19 U.S.C § 1304 and

- Reasons for marking including: consumer rights, consumer slectivity, statistical

analysis and tracking of counterfeit goods;

- Details of the Advance Ruling Program and how it is facilitated; and

- How to file e-allegations against individuals suspsecred of nor abiding by USCBP

regulations.
